How To Connect Laser Sensor With PLC?

In the industrial field, pressure, displacement, temperature, flow rate, rotational speed and other kinds of analog sensors are different because of the technical methods used in the design. The mode of sensor working distribution is mainly divided into two-wire system and four-wire system, and the analog signals of its output are also different, while the common ones are 0-20 mA, 4-20mA current signal and 0-75 mV, 0-5V, 1-5V voltage signal.

For successfully collecting varieties of analog signals sensor into the PLC/DCS/FCS/MCU/FA/PC system, it is necessary to match and select according to the functions and technical characteristics of the sensor and the data acquisition system, and also to take into account the power supply differences between the industrial field sensor and the PLC data acquisition system and the influence of various EMC disturbances. The PLC collects the analog or digital signal of the sensor through the signal line, and then processes it. If the sensor is analog output, the PLC is connected to the analog input interface, and if the sensor is digital signal output, the PLC is connected to the digital input interface.
